Braves Hats

I went to Caring and Sharing and bought a Braves hat. It was great. The picture of me with the brook trout shows me with my hat. Dad went to Goodwill and bought a Braves hat for $2, but it was too small. But I offered to trade hats.  it worked! Now we both have Braves hats that fit.                       The End!!

Dad's Fish, My Fish

I went to Unicoi yesterday. Me and Dad went fishing. I caught a brook trout. Dad caught a minnow. Nathaniel sold CDs  and played music. We watched  a concert. It was great!!! We ate candy too! The brook trout I caught was the first trout I had ever caught! Even if I
didn't catch anything, trout fishing is my favorite kind of fishing. The whole atmosphere is great, with its
clear water, and that's just the beginning!!!!!!!!!!

Thanksgiving

I like Thanksgiving. We all go to Canton and see our cousins. And we eat great food like meat and potatoes! Autumn is going to dress up like an Indian. I don't blame her. Although I'm not dressing up like an Indian it's not a bad idea. "That's right," says Autumn. We will take leaves off the tree and guess who wrote them  by the way. One of the things that we do is find a dead tree and set it up in the house and cut up paper and everybody gets a piece of paper and writes something that they're thankful for and puts it on the tree!

Stuff

Well, we probably won't blog for a while, and I know we haven't blogged for a while anyway. I got a gift certificate for writing a books so we'll be concentrating on that. Then we'll be back. For Autumn's birthday we all dressed up like Indians, even Mom and Nathaniel. We didn't put up the pictures last time because we didn't know if Mom and Nathaniel would let us. Now we have a new cold picture of Indians. Those weird pictures are me taking pictures of myself. I just got into the camera and had a little fun. Autumn was begging me to put her picture of Indians on my blog. The last pictures I just plopped on there like a piece of pie on a plate. That's about all. See ya when I have my book done! Keep on checking my blog. A lot of the time I won't have a new post but sometimes I will. Check my blog every day. Hugs and kisses from Asher.

October

October is my favorite season of the year....except December. First of all Dad had a birthday. It has been a long time since I've blogged but I'm on a fall ball team now. Our season is almost over. I'm going to play next year. Then Autumn had her birthday. She got a lot of stuff like Indians. She likes those. Then finally Mom had her birthday. Her birthday was late because she went out to eat with Dad. When she got home the house was all nice. Then the next morning was my birthday! On Mom's birthday 9 years ago she spent her whole birthday in the hospital waiting for me to come out. I wanted my own birthday so I waited till the next day... that was my strategy. So if you didn't understand, my birthday was basically the next day. I got a very good thing that I've been wanting all year, a backstop. Nathaniel and Dad are very fun to play catch with but they're not always willing to because they have work. They're not 9-year-olds with too much time on their hands. I got snake skin boots and a backstop and a chocolate bar and another book certificate. And Autumn drew me a picture. And Nathaniel gave me two really nice pocket knives. I don't have a picture of them but I wish that I did. We went to Lake Russell. Years ago we had a great dog named Solomon. Every year for his birthday we went to Lake Russell and he played in the creek. We went to the creek too and we played in the water. If you were wondering Solomon is dead now. He's been dead for a long time. There's been a whole bunch of other stuff that's happened in October but this is what I wanted to talk about. My birthday dinner was Chinese food...kind of. I had Chinese food a while before but today my team is going out for Mexican food.

Slides and Barbed Wire

I went to the coach’s house. He had a water slide. I was surprised that only five of my teammates were there. I had a lot of fun on the water slide with everyone who did come. I got my trophy and I have a picture of it. See Holly. She looks like she’s eating dog food. Apparently she likes it because she stuck her hand in a few times. (She didn’t really eat it.) We went to the Dover’s house and Eli wandered off with another boy. The boy was showing him the water and Eli fell in. He fell in barbed wire and was stuck. This is the weird part. A pediatrician was already there. He came out to see what was happening. Mr. Dover came out with clippers and cut a piece out of the fence. Then he pulled the barbed wire out of Eli’s leg. Eli apologized for wandering off. He still has a dent in his leg. Eli just now said, “Ooh, right here.” Holly just now fell at a table. She’s fine. Holly’s done crying now. We’ve been having a lot of rain lately. I made myself a house in our town in the back yard. I’ve been making traffic lights. We made one hanging over the road and it was great. It was held up by a tarp that was the roof of my house. When it rained the water filled up my tarp because there was nothing solid on the bottom of my tarp. So when the rain came it filled up the tarp and everything collapsed. I figured that out just yesterday. I decided that since there was nothing solid under my tarp I could put a stick sticking up in my house to make my roof slant. That would save our traffic light and my house. We went tothe community garden today. I ate blackberries. That’s my story of the week. Amen.

My Trip

I went to the Smokies and ate steak and potatoes. Dad and Nathaniel caught fish. I found my favorite place in the world! We had a lot of fish get off.

We saw five snakes. One was flat on the road. One I almost stepped on. I was hopping off of a rock, and when I was about to step on the snake it hopped into the water. That scared me…a lot. I was walking on the shore and one of the snakes swam next to me. Two were in the water swimming. They weren’t together, but we saw two in the water.

Nathaniel played on The Pickin’ Porch. I found one of the weirdest dulcimers in the whole world…I think it is. The Clemmers had a two-person dulcimer. They played it during the Pickin’ Porch.

Some of my Favorite Things

My favorite stuff... I know that sometime when I get old and lose my hair and all my teeth I'll look at this (if I'm not blind) and I'll see all my favorite stuff when I was 8. It still might be some of my favorite stuff when I'm 189...if I'm that old...probably won't be. I think that I could have most of the stuff that I have in my favorite stuff but this is just some of the stuff that I felt like getting out. I could have a whole screen full of army guys. That is if I get the ones off of Amazon with 1,000 army guys. I guess I got a little distracted with the screen full of a thousand army guys. These are some of my favourite things.

Puppet Shows, Old People and Money

Autumn and Eli did a neat puppet show but oops- it really didn't go well. They were getting in a cardboard box-both of them- and they flipped! Autumn and I like to be old people. See our costumes. I have $10,000,000,000! I'm rich! On the other hand it's just English money and it's not like I'd spend it, it'd be worth $1. That's all I can say about my money. Eli no, sorry, I'll get back to my blog. Oh and if you don't remember, Eliot, Eli I mean he's in my introduction. That's what's been happening this week!

Bye! The End!

Books

I like books very, very much! Whenever I read a book I feel like I'm in another world. When I'm in another world I don't know what anyone is doing. Even if someone is talking to me I don't hear. I like books. I'm looking at a pirate book right now. I read Christopher Columbus and I learned something. I sort of taught it to myself by reading it. The person on the poop deck tells the forecast. I learned that some of the weapons that pirates use  are cannons, a fire pot, a musket, a dagger and a grabbing hook. There's another one that sort of looks like a sword and there's another one that I don't know the word. There's another one that looks like a swivel gun. I've read probably 1,000 books in my whole life...maybe even more. Those books are the best books ever and I've still got more to learn.

Mama Big Mouth

Nathaniel got a package in the mail. He ordered it about a week ago. It does a lot of stuff. I have no idea what all it does but it does a lot. You know how much he likes music- yeah- well this will help him with his music...maybe not...I don't know. One is a picture of what it is and the other one's he's tossing it around. So you can see him pointing at it with that big mouth. He's just shocked that he got it. You can tell by that mouth. That's enough about Mama big mouth. The End!
